The Alabama Department of Education has created a project better known as ALEX, which is a system that provides teachers, students as well as parents a site to able them to retrieve information as well as lesson plans, web links, distance learning, courses of study and also interactive activities at the click of a mouse. This website is rich in its quality and will only continue to get better because you are allowed to share your knowledge with others, you can ask questions and have a quick responses and comments by actual members of the National Board of Certified Teachers.
This site is made possible by resources such as the Verizon Foundation, Alabama Supercomputer Authority, Technology Initiatives and the Federal Government. My Opinion, this site is a very helpful resource especially for teachers to be. It is a good way to become more familiar with the way lesson plans should be made and carried out.
